Dear volunteer coaches,

On behalf of our region, we'd like to thank you for your commitment and generosity in giving your time to our most important resource - our children.  Some times at a practice or a game it may only seem you're only watching children have fun.  But remember that you're also a key component in assisting with  the development of our children's self-esteem, self-confidence and positive attitude.

Our goal, as always, is to keep it fun as we help each player hone their skills.  We can do that by continuing to do what we've always done best: Teach... Train... Transform.

Coach Reminders...

1. If you have your roster, make sure to call your team parents as soon as possible to schedule a meeting.
2. At the meeting, go over any details such as practice schedules, unifroms, etc. ( use this template as a reference )
3. You must have your coaching certification and release forms signed before coaching your team.
4. Attend to one of our coaches' meetings to receive all the tools that you will need before the season.
5. Manage your team and practice by keeping things simple, yet productive.
6. You may use our "training plan template" to help you organize your training sessions.  This is just an example but if you want us to send you the excel format so you can edit it, send us an e-mail (Web Administrator)
7. Visit http://www.finesoccer.com/ to get great drills and incoorporate to your training plan.
8. Check out the FIFA and AYSO manuals.
